Discovery 2 Parts

The Discovery 2 range was launched in autumn of 1998, a totally new vehicle from the earlier Discovery.

Under BMW ownership at the time two new engines were introduced, the now iconic 5 cylinder turbo diesel Td5 and the 4.0 litre V8 petrol. The Discovery 2 had much better road handling courtesy of Self Levelling Suspension and Active Cornering Enhancement along with Electronic Traction Control, Electronic Brake Distribution and Hill Descent Control.
